Update on Inherited Canine Cardiac Diseases and Overview of Upcoming Zenalpha Clinical Trial Opportunity at Purdue
Our knowledge of inherited and acquired canine cardiac disease continues to evolve pretty rapidly. Since our beloved Golden Retrievers are unfortunately, not exempt from problems in this space, it makes sense as a breeder and owner to stay abreast of new knowledge.
Fortunately, not far from many of our homes, we have one of the top veterinary schools in the United States. As a leading school they are constantly evaluating new tools and approaches for clinicians. clinical trial evaluating echocardiogram effects on a next generation reversible sedative, Zenalpha will start soon. This trial provides an opportunity to advance important knowledge of the already approved drug and complete some important inherited disease testing at a significantly reduced cost at Purdue.
