Annual Veteran’s Day Meeting!
What to bring: A covered dish to share with the feast, your drink and table service, and good weather!!
WHAT WILL BE HAPPENING? Fun and games for everyone! The “vintage” Goldens and other retriever breeds in our club will be the guests of honor at our Veteran’s Day Paw-ty, but the youngsters will also be very much invited to join in the jocularity! Great time to bring puppies to help with socialization skills!! And fun in the “better weather”!!!
Games: Popcorn toss and catch, bumper toss, fuzzy toy scurry, tennis ball toss-em-up and add, and guess your dog!! And some other surprises along the way too! These games are for the Veterans and the youngsters too! (We are talking about the dogs here, but the owners included!) In the better weather!!
AND… we are going to make the cement foot prints stepping stones again, if the weather stays above freezing!! Of course we will, because we WILL have better weather!!!
AND… of course the Veteran Parade where the biography of the “young at heart veteran” is read and then handed a special ribbon made just for them!!!
Please call or email Alinda Edens if you are planning on coming. She is making up the ribbons. Alinda’s email is: firstname.lastname@example.org and her phone number is: (317) 773-8417 Cell phone: (317) 506-0539. Remember you must call her if you are coming!!!
