White River Golden Retriever Club, Inc. invited you to participate in our FALL, 2006 WC/WCX Test at the Farmland Conservation Club in Farmland, In (near Winchester, In). The test began in the cold and rain at 8:00 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time (note the time-zone). Despite a significant wind-chill, we all survived and had a good time (oh yeah, the dogs had a blast too).
The White River Golden Retriever Club put on a six-track TDX test. Four of the six entries passed! Judges were Stephen L. Ripley and W. Orrin Eldred II. Photos will probably never be posted (sorry).
The White River Golden Retriever Club is again putting on back-to-back specialty shows, sweepstakes events, and obedience trials. For the second time (this makes it a trend), this show will be on a Saturday and Sunday, so it is more convenient for you, the exhibitor and supporter! These shows are held indoors, and are unbenched. Conformation will be judged by Mrs. Suzanne D. Hemminger and Ms. Linda Robey on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Sweepstakes will be judged by Ms. Megan Strickland and Ms. Teri Poetker Saturday and Sunday. Mr. Richard Strong and Mrs. Suzanne D. Hemminger will be judging obedience on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Finally, Ms. Patricia Kelly will be judging a new addition to our weekend, Rally, on Saturday.

Our second annual TDX, this is sure to be as exciting as the first year. You and your dogs are invited to our 2007 TDX test at the beautiful Summit Lake State Park in New Castle, IN. Every passing dog was awarded "A Replica Start Flag" from their track offered by White River Golden Retriever Club (to be mailed). This workshop put on by WRGRC will be a "hands-on" workshop limited to 12 dog/handler participant teams. You and your dog will receive instructional guidance directly from Mitch White of Gamekeeper's Retrievers.

(tentative) WRGRC members will host a therapy dog roundtable discussion and after the meeting the Goldens and members can do some field training.
WRGRC members will provide tips on grooming your Golden. Bring your grooming supplies and a clean Golden. Afterwards, everyone can play in the pond.
